You will see the wall built between Palestine and Israel and will understand the constraints, conflicts and the commonalities of living together. 7-Day Tour

 

DURATION AND ITINERARY

This tour has a duration of 7 tour days. We ride during 5 days in stages through Israel from the Negev desert to the Sea of Galilee in the north and are staying in different hotels and desert camps.

Start of the tour will be in Jerusalm and will end in Nazareth near the Sea of Galilee. The stages will lead us to the Jerusalem area, the Negev Desert, the Dead Sea region to 400 meters below sea level and through the Jordan Valley in Palestine (West Bank) to the Sea of Galilee and the old town of Nazareth.

This adventure trekking tour through The Holy Land occur as follows:

Day 1
Arrival in Tel Aviv and transfer to the start point of the tour to Jerusalem. Afternoon free to visit Jerusalem.

Day 2
Stage 1 Riding from Jerusalem into the Negev Desert.

Day 3
Stage 2 Exploring the Negev Desert.

Day 4
Stage 3 Crossing the Negev Desert to the Dead Sea.

Day 5
Stage 4 Riding through the Judean Desert visiting the amazing monastery of Mar Saba.

Day 6
Stage 5 Along the Jordan Valley to the north reaching the Sea of Galilee and Nazareth.

Day 7
Departure from Tel Aviv Airport.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL

Our tour guides ensure that your riding level is accommodated during the rides - the difficulty can be easy to medium+ in the desert and the dunes. Beginners and less-capable riders have the option to shorten the distances of the stages, and to opt for small parts on desert roads. We have different routes in place for less experienced and advanced riders.

BEST TIME FOR THIS TRAIL

In Israel, ideal weather conditions occur in January through April.

TRAVEL AND HOTEL TRANSFER

You will arrive to the Tel Aviv International Airport and will take the train to the starting point of the tour in Jerusalem. At the end of the tour, we will depart from the Tel Aviv airport.

We recommend to add at least after the tour a day in Tel Aviv to have dinner in the old town named Jaffa. On the arrival day you have the possibility to visit Jerusalem, if you want to explore Jerusalem in depth then we recommend to arrive a day earlier.

ACCOMMODATION AND BOARD

We will stay in comfortable hotels, typical Kibuzz and while in the Negev we'll stay in camps. Breakfast and dinner are included. For lunch you take snacks and water which your carry in your bag on the trail. There are no places to stop during the stages. Drinks are not included.

NOT INCLUDED

Individual arrival and departure, CDW (insurance for the damages on the rental bike), drinks, personal insurance, travel cancellation coverage. Dinner on the arrival day is not included as you will visit Jerusalem on your own schedule.

MANAGEMENT OF THE TOUR

A tour manager will be available for the whole duration of this tour. Please turn to him regarding any question, information, or issues.

MOTORBIKES, FUEL AND TYRE

On this tour, a rental bike and fuel are included. We have KTM, GASGAS and Husqvarna 2 and 4-stroke models available. All bikes are the latest models, professionally serviced, and in excellent condition. The bikes come with tires in good condition suitable for the ride with mousses and are equipped with closed rally guards, motor skid plate, and fan.

MOTORBIKE SERVICE

On this tour, a professional mechanic services the bikes, with the service car meeting the riders at the lunch point and in the evening (where accessible) to fuel up and perform repairs.

DAMAGES ON THE RENTAL BIKE

We do not charge for normal wear of the bike (like scratches on the plastics). On this tour an insurance (CDW – Collission ‘Damage Waiver) is available which covers damages on the bike. See the terms of business for details.

EQUIPMENT AND GEAR

Minimum Enduro gear includes a helmet, goggles, elbow protectors (we recommend a protector jacket), gloves, pants, knee protectors, and Enduro boots. For this tour a good rain jacket and a backpack with min. 15 liter space for the rain jacket, water, lunch snacks and a waterproof mobile phone case are mandatory.

We recommend taking a second set of Enduro clothes with you.
