Stay with the racers in the Hotel IBIS, the best hotel in the city footsteps away from the ancient city center with its fine restaurants, pubs, and nightlife. Breakfast and dinner are included. Tour manager and mechanics service incl. refueling at lunch.

SHORT TRIP

This tour is also available as short trip with a duration of 5 days with 3 days of riding. Booking an extra night arriving on Tuesday you will be able to watch the final of the prologue at 5 pm.

Sibiu is the home of the Red Bull Romaniacs. here they live Extreme enduro. You can choose a KTM, Husqvarna or GASGAS from our rental fleet or bring your own bike via the RideXpower Bike Express. We will tailor this tour to your needs and riding abilities. You can enjoy a casual trail ride through the Transylvania wilderness to the top of the majestic Carpathian Mountains or get into the gnarl of Romaniacs -  it's entirely up to you.

DURATION AND ITINERARY

This tour lasts for 8 days, with 5 days of riding and 1 day off. The short trip has 5 tour days with 3 days of riding and no rest day. We have set the itinerary so that we are not under pressure from limited time and the schedule also provides plenty of time in the evening to visit the paddock, to meet with racers, to eat, drink, and be merry!

This tour in Sibiu will occur as follows:

8-DAY TOUR

Day 1
Arrival in Sibiu.

Day 2
All day tour. Ride on the race tracks of previous years.

Day 3
Rest day. Watch the prologue of the Red Bull Romaniacs.

Day 4
All day tour. Meet the race at the best spectator points of the race day.

Day 5
All day tour. Meet the race at the best spectator points of the race day.

Day 6
All day tour. Meet the race at the best spectator points of the race day.

Day 7
Half day tour. Watch the final hillclimb of the Red Bull Romaniacs.

Day 8
Departure.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL

The tracks in Sibiu have a medium to medium+ level. The difficulty level is accommodated during the rides to the riding level of the group. For less experienced and less capable riders our tour guides have easier tracks and very nice gravel roads, Sibiu offers all levels of Enduro, from moderate to extreme Enduro.

BEST TIME FOR THIS TRAIL

In Sibiu, ideal weather conditions occur between April and October.

TRAVEL AND HOTEL TRANSFER

The airport for arrival is SIBIU. You will be picked up at the gate and transferred to the Hotel IBIS. Those arriving by car will be welcomed in the hotel.

ACCOMMODATION AND BOARD

Your are staying in a 4* hotel in the cityy center of Sibiu next to the Ride Xpower Base from where teh tours start and end and where you will meet the racers, just a few footsteps away from the old town with the restaurants, bars and pubs. Breakfast is included. For lunch we stop at restaurants on the way and for dinner you will go to the best restaurants in the city or choose the excellent restaurant in the hotel after you relaxed in the SPA after riding (dinner not included). The Ride Xpower Base offers a changing room where you can leave your gear between the riding days. The package includes 7 overnight stays including breakfast, the short trip includes 4 overnight stays with breakfast.

MANAGEMENT OF THE TOUR

A tour manager will be available for the whole duration of this tour. Please turn to him regarding any questions, information, or issues.

MOTORBIKES, FUEL AND TYRE

On this tour, a rental bike and fuel are included. We have KTM and Husqvarna 4-stroke models available. All bikes are the latest models, professionally serviced, and in excellent condition. The bikes come with Enduro tires in good condition suitable for the ride with mousses and are equipped with closed rally guards, motor skid plate, and fan. You can choose to mount new soft Enduro tires as extra.

MOTORBIKE SERVICE

On this tour, a professional mechanic services the bikes, with the service car meeting the riders at the lunch point and in the evening (where accessible) to fuel up and perform repairs. A spare bike is available.

DAMAGES ON THE RENTAL BIKE

We do not charge for normal wear of the bike (like scratches on the plastics). On this tour an insurance (CDW – Crash ‘Damage Waiver) is available which covers damages on the bike. See the terms of business for details.

EQUIPMENT AND GEAR

Minimum Enduro gear includes a helmet, goggles, elbow protectors (we recommend a protector jacket), gloves, pants, knee protectors, and Enduro boots. For this tour a good rain jacket and a backpack with water are mandatory.

We recommend taking a second set of Enduro clothes with you.

Deposit 700 EUR at booking, the balance is required 60 days before tour start.
