HIGHLIGHTS

The region around Veria is a as beautiful as full of demanding tracks up to 2.000 meters with stunning views, great uphill and long descents. The old town is amazing and full of restaurants and bars.

We like this tour because of the amazing package. The old town of Veria is so authentic with its restaurants and bars, our hotel in the ancient houses and the tracks for all levels offer a good mix of hard but flowy tracks, of great uphills through forests, medadows and the peaks abouve sea level and the long descents are so great rideable that you will not want to stop to bike them. Veria is home of the RIVER Hard Enduro Race.

DURATION AND ITINERARY

The 7-day tour lasts for 7 days, with 5 riding days. The 5-day tour lasts for 5 days with 3 riding days.. The package includes the overnight stays including breakfast. There is no rest day during the tour.

All day tours include riding on the race tracks of River Hard Enduro Race.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL

The difficulty level of this tour is medium to hard. We have tracks for all level of riders at hand. Less capable riders will take different routes than the more experienced.

BEST TIME FOR THIS TRAIL

Best time for this trail is September to November and March to May. The higher alpine regions are due to snow limited rideable from January through March but the tracks are still snow free and we can ride almost the whole trail.

TRAVEL AND HOTEL TRANSFER

The airport for arrival and departure is Thessaloniki. You will be picked up by a transfer to Veria which is included.

ACCOMMODATION AND BOARD

We stay either in a boutique hotel in the old center of Veria or in a hotel with SPA and swimming pool. Breakfast is included. For lunch we stop at restaurants on the way or take snacks with us, for dinner we go into one of the phantastic restaurants in the city (not included). Drinks are not included.

MANAGEMENT OF THE TOUR

A tour manager will be available for the whole duration of this tour. Please turn to him regarding any questions, information, or issues.

MOTORBIKES, FUEL AND TYRE

On this tour, a rental bike and fuel are included. We have KTM, GASGAS and Husqvarna 2 and 4-stroke models available. All bikes are the latest models, professionally serviced, and in excellent condition. The bikes come with tires in good condition suitable for the ride with mousses and are equipped with closed rally guards, motor skid plate, and fan.

MOTORBIKE SERVICE

On this tour, a professional mechanic services the bikes, with the service car meeting the riders at the lunch point (where accessible) to fuel up and perform repairs. A spare bike is available.

DAMAGES ON THE RENTAL BIKE

We do not charge for normal wear of the bike (like scratches on the plastics). On this tour an insurance (CDW – Crash ‘Damage Waiver) is available which covers damages on the bike. See the terms of business for details.

EQUIPMENT AND GEAR

Minimum Enduro gear includes a helmet, goggles, elbow protectors (we recommend a protector jacket), gloves, pants, knee protectors, and Enduro boots. For this tour a good rain jacket and a backpack with water is mandatory. We recommend a warm jacket as we are biking to higher alpine regions.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS 

Deposit 800€ / 600€ EUR at booking, the balance is required 60 days before tour start.
